Maggie Rimmel, daughter of James W. and Erin Rimmel of Mt. Lebanon, and Andrew Galant, son of Geoff and Susan Galant of Jacksonville, Florida, were married on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, at the Longue Vue Club. Maggie and Andrew met in college—she attended Emory University, and he attended Georgia Tech. The weekend began with a lively welcome party on Friday night at Cinderlands, where guests enjoyed dinner, drinks, speeches, and mingling. Despite a forecast of rain, the wedding day turned out perfectly clear. Mt. Lebanon locals Lucy Rimmel and Riley Napoleon stood beside Maggie as bridesmaids. Maggie wore a beaded Rita Vinieris gown from Bridal Beginning. The couple worked with several talented local vendors, including Exhale Events, greenSinner, 1978 Collection, Cakes by Colby, DJ Digital Dave, Beauty Justified by Justine, Bianca Tang Photography, and Dorosh Documentaries. Following the celebration, Maggie and Andrew departed for their honeymoon in the Whitsundays and Sydney, Australia.
